At Kickstarz, we believe football should be fun, safe, and open to every child. Based in Rochdale, we provide small group football coaching designed to give every player the attention they need. Our sessions are split by age, from toddler football classes in Rochdale (18 months to 5 years) through to kids football classes for ages 5 years to 13 years.

Sharaz - Manager/Lead Coach
"I come from a sport science background, with vast experience in teaching PE and coaching in a variety of sports, more specifically football. My passion for sport and football has brought me into coaching, wanting to provide opportunities for the youth which I didn’t have and break down barriers for participation in sport. At Kickstarz, everyone is welcome, with our great team of coaches here to support and nurture your child in the best possible manner. We have numerous coaches on hand, with small class sizes, so the interaction between our coaches and children is greater, meaning a more targeted approach and better experience all round. We believe this is the best environment for your child to come enjoy sports, develop and we hope to see one of our own from Kickstarz go all the way!”

“I hold a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, having experience in both playing and coaching football at numerous levels including at university level. As a coach, I aim to create a fun, inclusive and educational environment where the future stars can learn, develop and thrive. I focus on developing young players, not only physically but also in their understanding of football, so they grow into well-rounded athletes. Alongside this, I’m passionate about supporting and elevating the team of coaches around me, ensuring we provide the best experience possible at Kickstarz.”

“As a young coach, my love for playing football has guided me into a coaching role. Having played football from a young age, the pitch is where I like to be, whether that is playing competitively or in a coaching role here at Kickstarz. As a coach, I lead by example and try and be a role model for the youth. I really enjoy coaching here at Kickstarz, as it gives me the opportunity to assist the young players in learning and growing in a fun manner, as this is the aim of the game. We provide a unique experience for all and are very inclusive and welcoming no matter where you are in terms of your development.”

We take safeguarding seriously. All our coaches are DBS-checked and trained in first aid. Our sessions are planned with safety in mind, and we follow all Football Association safeguarding guidelines. You can trust that your child is in safe, supportive hands.
